So what's on the mind of many fashion divas this winter?  

Well, the fashion New Year of 2012 was brought in with a bang of colour and patterns! This of course is contrary to what many people may think.  In past years many people would take out their dark coloured clothing and put away their light coloured clothing for the winter.  They would have to patiently wait for spring in order to take them out again. 

This year 2012 is changing things up! Colour and patterns are "in" and staying for the season.  Don’t be scared to step away from the blacks, greys, and browns this winter.  Mixing things up with a splash of colour will help make you stand out and shine even in these cold winter months. 

When thinking of putting on that plain black dress, think of what coloured accessories you can put on too!  Making slight changes to the typical winter outfit will make a big difference.  Are you the mood for your favourite boots, jeans and a simple t-shirt?  No problem.  Any jeans of medium shade or darker will be perfect with any coloured long sleeved t-shirt and chunky jewellery.  Place a warm jacket and funky scarf on top and you are dressed perfect for any day out in the city.

Fall 2011 Fashion Trends

This year Fall Fashion brings a whole new meaning to the fashion world.  Designers are capturing past eras and bringing them to the new and fashionable 21st century.  Fashion trends come and go, but this 2011 Fall Fashion seems to be taking it to another level. 

Designers are mixing up electric colours with fall clothing to create a “can’t-take-your-eyes-off-it” look. You will be seeing many colours and textured combinations that have a twist of patterns!  Men and woman's fashion style will stand out this season with all this year’s new trends and brand names. 

Woman will be seen wearing a variety of jackets, dresses, long sweaters, tanks, leggings and booties.

Men will be layering jackets, vests, t-shirts, long sleeve dress shirts, scarves, dark denim, and fitted dress pants with a sleek shoe this season.

In order to complete this trendy look you will need accessories! Hats and scarves are popular this year so don’t be sacred to throw in some colour to your outfit. Jewellery for both men and woman will be a definite statement this fall with colours that stand out and add that “pop” to any article you wear.

Woman hand bags, patterns are best...and a season must-have parkas! For both men and woman polka dots are back and don’t seem to be going anywhere anytime soon. 

Designers are pushing this Fall Fashion 2011 out of the box and giving people variety to make their outfit a creation of their own with all the right tools!
